UUID Generator

Utility: Generate unique identifiers that are guaranteed to be unique across space and time without a central registry.

Definitions: UUID stands for Universally Unique Identifier. It consists of 128-bit values.

Technical Background: Version 4 UUIDs are purely random, while Version 1 includes timestamp and node (MAC address) data.

Fun Fact: There are about 3.4 x 10^38 possible UUIDs. If you generated a billion UUIDs every second, it would take about 10 billion years to exhaust the pool!
